Overview

Suka Espresso in Uluwatu stands out as a vibrant Western restaurant nestled on Jl. Labuansait, offering a refined yet approachable dining experience in the heart of Bali’s southern coast. Its location in Pecatu makes it an ideal stop for travelers and locals seeking quality comfort food after exploring the nearby beaches and cultural landmarks.

The menu shines brightest with its handcrafted burgers, especially the Wagyu Beef Burger, which promises rich flavors enhanced by natural cheddar and a brioche bun. The BBQ Pulled Pork Burger with red cabbage slaw and chipotle mayo also deserves special mention for its smoky depth and satisfying textures. For those looking lighter or vegetarian, the Watercress Spring Salad and sides like handcut fries or charred broccoli provide fresh, well-seasoned options that complement the main dishes perfectly.

Beyond food, Suka Espresso delivers on the beverages front. Their Sangria selections, from Peach White to Berry Red, bring a refreshing, fruity twist fitting for Bali’s tropical climate. The matcha drinks gather praise for their balanced taste, appealing to those who crave both traditional and innovative flavors.

The ambiance is lively and inviting, filled with a friendly buzz rather than silence, making it a great place for casual meals or relaxed gatherings. While the noise can rise when busy, it reflects the warmth and energy that define the space. The staff stands out distinctly—attentive, welcoming, and thoughtful, enhancing the overall experience. Guests have noted the considerate gestures such as providing umbrellas during rain, underscoring a sincere care for customer comfort.

Suka Espresso caters to a diverse clientele—from food adventurers and solo travelers to groups seeking a place with charm and consistency. Its balance of well-crafted dishes, vibrant atmosphere, and genuine hospitality creates a memorable meal that’s more than just eating—it’s a moment of connection and indulgence in Uluwatu’s dynamic food scene.

We visited **Suka Espresso Uluwatu** several times and it quickly became one of our favorite spots. The **Wagyu Beef Burger** was incredibly flavorful, and the **Grilled Veg Sandwich** was also delicious and well prepared. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. A great place to stop by whether you’re in the mood for a quick bite or a full meal. Highly recommended!

We visited this place twice, and both times it was a really pleasant experience. The matcha is outstanding – easily an 8/10. The tuna bowl was good, though the flavor could be a bit more balanced in my opinion – I’d rate it around 6.5/10. The overall atmosphere is lovely: stylish, cozy, and welcoming, though it can get a bit noisy at times when the place is crowded. A big plus for the staff – they are friendly and attentive. I really appreciated that on rainy days they offer umbrellas to guests waiting outside, which shows great attention to detail and care for customers. However, one small thing that bothered me was that some staff members started the conversation in Russian. As a Polish guest, I found that a bit uncomfortable and off-putting – it would be better to ask which language the guest prefers first. Despite this minor issue, I definitely recommend this place. Great food, excellent matcha, and an overall thoughtful service make it well worth visiting again. 30/12: We visited you again today. Everything was super ok! In terms of ratings: the rating consists of: the quality of the meal, the quality of the service and the relationship - product - price. 4 is a good rating

THE FOOD IS SOOO GOOD!! Legit the best weve had. Especially the carbonara pasta and seafood pasta, the beef burger and fries, calamari, chicken pesto toasties, brownies, carrot cake, baja fish tacos, whipped avocado dip with plaintain chips, breakfast burger, legit everything weve had was 100000/10 ⭐⭐⭐ vibes were immaculate for dinner too, dim lights and happy as live music for you to enjoy!! Very nice spot in Uluwatu Went there twice at different time and it feel like it’s always crowded/busy but not in a bad way. Good ambiance but if you want to have a relax experience this is not the place (lot of noise). Food was good/fresh as you would expect from a restaurant with heavy trafic also not that expensive (60k breaky menu).

Suka Express in Uluwatu is such a hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was a delight, from traditional Balinese specialties to more modern creations, and it was clear that a lot of care and passion went into each plate. The ambiance of the place is cozy yet vibrant, perfect for a relaxed meal after exploring Uluwatu. We really enjoyed sitting there, savoring the flavors, and just soaking in the environment. It’s one of those spots that make you feel happy just being there. I can’t recommend Suka Express enough for anyone visiting the area truly a memorable dining experience!

I’ve dined here before in 2024 so I wanted to come back.. it’s just as good now! Our waiter TJ was lovely, so friendly & funny! He went & got us a fan as it was so hot! He also recommended the ‘Frozen in Motion’ cocktail (75k RP on happy hour) which was delicious! The food was so good, I’ll be back again for sure!

I absolutely love this place, it’s one of my go-to spots in Bali for breakfast, brunch, and even dinner. The coffee is consistently excellent, and the food is just as good, with well-prepared, comforting dishes that never disappoint. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it a perfect place to start the day, catch up with friends, or wind down in the evening. Great vibes, great coffee, great food. You definitely have to try this one!

Caffe Suka is a great spot for breakfast, lunch, or even a relaxed evening meal — with plenty of delicious options to choose from! I had the Eggs Benedict (you can pick your preferred meat option like salmon or bacon), the shakshouka, and honestly one of the best sandwiches ever — the chicken pesto. The burgers are great too! Everything is beautifully presented on the plates, and there are lots of healthy options as well. Depending on the time of day, you might need to wait for a table, but it’s definitely worth it. One thing I actually like is that they don’t allow people to sit with laptops — so you can really enjoy your food without being surrounded by influencers taking pictures. The whole team is super polite, friendly, and hardworking. Definitely one of my favorite cafés in the area!
